THE AA rosette La Bonne Auberge brasserie at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland is offering diners a delicious two course meal with a glass of wine for only £18.95 per person (only £16.95 before 6.30pm) throughout September.

The restaurant’s new prix fixe menu offers starters of: chef’s freshly prepared soup; home cured North sea salmon and rich chicken liver pate. Main dishes include: Aberdeen smoked haddock fishcake; Piri Piri chicken; sweet cured bacon loin and sweet roasted and spiced carrots. Desserts, meanwhile, include: vanilla panna cotta; sticky toffee pudding and warm Ecclefechan tart.

Alan Taylor, general manager at La Bonne Auberge, said: “Our September dining offer provides exceptional cuisine at affordable prices in a setting perfect for pre- and post-theatre dining.” La Bonne Auberge is located in the heart of Theatreland in Glasgow city centre and surrounded by some of Glasgow’s top theatres, as well as Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. A series of live music events are pulling into The Indian Platform 2 (Southside) in Newton Mearns.

Saturday 27th September, Blues Brothers belt out the soul and blues classics made famous by The Blues Brothers film.

Chetan Parmar, co-founder of The Indian Platform with Nas Aksi, said: “There’s no doubt that our venue offers the perfect platform for bands to showcase their act to live music fans in Glasgow’s southside. And our delicious a la carte and buffet menus mean that you can satisfying your hunger pangs either before or after the live music set!”

The restaurant’s new menu includes an extensive tandoori selection, including such dishes as: murgh tikka; tandoori jhinga and tandoori machi, its house specialities include: murgh palakdaar; roshan lal; ginger chicken and saag; keema mutter; karahi king prawns; lamb rogan josh; biryani; machi masala and south Indian chilli garlic chicken.
