Some much needed old world glamour comes to Glasgow later this month with the launch (pun intended!) of The Anchor Line, a new outlet from Di Maggios.
Named after the Anchor Line shipping company, the first inhabitants of the building and celebrating the connection between Glasgow and New York in the 1930s so will be serving great food from each side of the Atlantic.
Both the inside and outside of this beautiful building will be refurbished to reflect the glamour of the early 1900s that has remained hidden for too long.
With marble cocktail bar tops, wooden panelling and original flooring, my inner architecture geek is in awe, never mind the foodie bit!
