Loch Fyne Food Fair - 17-18th May

A feast of West Coast food, wine and entertainment.

Location: Fields next to the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Cairndow. PA26 8BL

Stalls open 11am – 6pm FREE ADMISSION (parking £3 per vehicle)

Food Tent: wide range of foods, sold by the producers.
Alongside Loch Fyne Oysters own sea food stands, stalls in 2014 will include Winston Churchill Venison, Great Glen Game, Fyne Preserves, Crystal Shortbread, Home Ground Coffee Co., Dandelion Bakery, Cullisse Oils.

Featuring FOOD FROM ARGYLL producers. Watch them on film at the Food fair.

Ales supplied by Fyne Ales plus wine bar with specially selected wines.

Live Music throughout both days: Saturday starts off with the Dunoon Grammar School Pipe Band, followed by John Renton and friends. The afternoon features Sweet Heart Revue from Glasgow and our local favorites Dr. Hip and the Blues Operation.

New for 2014 Sunday afternoon Celidh with Heron Valley from 3pm
Award winning Argyll Brass join us on Sunday from 1.30pm

Craft tent including West Coast Living and over 16 craft workers.

Children’s Entertainments including climbing wall, trampolines, bouncy castle, kiddies rides and face painting.

New for 2014 in celebration of Whisky Month and World Whisky Day on the 17th May:

Whisky Connections tent featuring cooking demonstrations, talks and presentations, exploring new and traditional links between food and the "water of life".

Evening Event on Saturday 17th May 7pm

Celtic Cook Off – Competition between top chefs from the Celtic Nations, held in the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.

Come and watch the chefs show off their skills, join in the craic and the buzz and maybe even be a judge!

This event originated in West Cork and the Irish will be there in force to make sure the evening goes with a swing.

£25.00 per person for champagne and light buffet. Under 18s, £20 per person for soft drink and light buffet
