The Best of the West Festival comes to Inverary again and sounds fab. We are off to it on the Saturday (wish Sunday too but previously booked : ( ). Some great people are there such as Fyne Ales and Inverawe. Tickets can be bought HERE. Looks a good day for foodies and parents. For parents after the purchase of your ticket, the activities are all free of charge. You can jump all day on the bungees, climb the walls or create multiple works of art in the activity tent and it won’t cost you a penny.

Getting there:-
By Coach
Scottish City Link provides a regular bus service from Glasgow to Campbeltown via Inveraray service number 926.
By Air
The most convenient airports is Glasgow (55 miles) from where you can hire a car. For taxi travel from Glasgow Airport to all destinations.
From Glasgow
Take the A82 North along Loch Lomond to Tarbert and then take the A83 round the head of Loch Fyne to Inveraray. Allow one and a half hours.
From Oban
Take the A85 North to Connel, Taynuilt and Loch Awe.Turn Right onto the A819 to Inveraray. Allow about one hour.
