Lumiere Durham 2019

Lumiere, the UK's largest light festival, returns to Durham in November for its 10th-anniversary edition.

As #Durham19 the county's Year of Culture draws to a close, Lumiere has transformed Durham City into a glittering outdoor gallery from 14th to 17th November.

This special anniversary edition of Lumiere will feature festival favourites such as Mysticète ,  by Top’là Design and Catherine Garret, the mesmerising 3D Baleen whale projection, alongside exciting new commissions and community projects.

Lumiere Durham is taking place from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th November 2019 and is open each night between 4.30 pm – 11 pm.

Tickets

Free, however, there is a free peak-time ticketing system is in place to access the central peninsula area of the city during the peak-times of the festival (4.30 pm – 7.30 pm). You only need a ticket if you are visiting the central peninsula area of the city during peak times.
