The Glad Cafe continue to lead the way in the Southside with their latest offering – Glad Rags.

All about raising fund for music tuition for the local area, their aim is best understood with the illustration below.

For such a small unit there was a lot for sale. Men’s and ladies wear, shoes, beauty as well as accessories. All were displayed in a quirky and recyclable fashion.

Spied these lovely shoes, but held back – mainly due to Mr Foodie being there 😉

However, I did get a pair of Office Shoes and a John Rocha blouse both for £13.45, excellent price I think.

The shop is closed on Tuesdays but is open mon, wed and fri 9-5, thurs 9-7, sat/sun 10-5pm.

I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.
