Winter Cocktails to celebrate the festive season at Champagne Central

A new winter cocktail menu at Champagne Central needed some “research”.  We headed along to find out what is on offer and to try out a few on their press night.

The Cocktails

True scot Winter cocktail menu champagne central

True Scot

Auchentoshan 12 year old whisky, Frangelico and lemon

This was refreshing with the Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) sweetening up the whisky.  Thumbs up from us both.

Winter warmer Winter cocktail menu champagne central

Winter Warmer

Prosecco, orange and orange bitters.

A fave for Mrs Foodie. A slightly more adult Bucks Fizz. Thats Christmas morning sorted.

Pink 75 Winter cocktail menu champagne central

Pink 75

Tanquery, Aperol, St. Germain, Rose Prosecco.

This twist of a French 75 was enjoyed by both of us.  A bit of a mix of spirits and liqueurs here topped up with rose Prosecco.

La vie en rose Winter cocktail menu champagne central

La vie en rose

Smirnoff black vodka, chambord, Cointreau, lime strawberries and basil.

Fruity and fragrant. This is one that would be perfect to start off an evening out with.

Midnight Rickey

Kraken rum, Xante pear cognac, lime, coffee beans and soda.  If you love some pear this is the one for you.  A refreshing long cocktail.
