Fairfields Farm vegan crisps – Cheese & onion join their range

Fairfields Farm has a range of vegan crisps and they asked us to give them a taste test as they release a new cheese and onion flavour.

We did a scientific experiment with Mr C, a blind tasting of the Farmfields Vegan Crisps. They were so good that he pinched a couple of bags of them without knowing that they were indeed vegan-friendly.

“Thick and crispy with a strong flavour”

We also tried their other meat and dairy-free flavours of Roast Rib of Beef and Bacon & Tomato. Two flavours we did not expect to see marked as vegan. The bacon and tomato had a strong aroma, more tomatoey than bacon, while the rib of beef flavour was pungently beefy. All of the flavours are pronounced with a satisfying crunch.

The new cheese & onion flavour joins the full Fairfields Farm range, which includes: Lightly Sea Salted, Sea Salt & Aspall Cyder Vinegar, Bacon & Tomato, Rib of Beef, Sweet Chilli and Sea Salt & Black Pepper.

All Fairfield Farm crisps are entirely meat and dairy-free, as well as being gluten-free with no declarable allergens.  The crisps are also made using potatoes grown on the independent family farm on the border of Essex and Suffolk, with renewable energy used in their production.

Where to buy

They are available from the East of England Co-op and independent retailers nationwide, as well as direct from Fairfields Farm for carbon-neutral delivery to your door at fairfeldsfarmcrisps.co.uk. RRP is 80p for a 40g bag, and £1.99 for a 150g bag, though prices vary by retailer.
