Nicks Bar and Kitchen, 168 Hyndland Road, Glasgow

After dropping some Bacon Marmalade off to The Hyndland Cafe, I had a thirst of the beer kind.   I had passed by Nicks a few times on the bus and it looked like the kind of place that I could sit with a pint.

Two levels in here with the upper level looking like its mainly for food whereas the lower level definitely has a bar feel to it.  With the tables suited to couple visitors (however with moveable tables), some bar seating as well as seats at the window for some perched beer drinking.  There is a TV screen also for the football which of course is handy just now.

Bar snacks are available.  We didn't order any but another table did and it looked good.

Usual beers on tap, with wines, and spirits also available.

We settled on a  half of Heverlee and a pint of Guinness  which came in at £5.20.  Friendly staff chatted away when approached and  brought the Guinness over (which  was also poured well)

Some tables outside for when it's sunny add another tick to the list.  Thumbs up for this one.
