Italian Beer Jelly

05/05/2014 by Emma Leave a Comment

Jelly for grown ups

One of the good things about Smile Cafe on Queen Margaret Drive is the bits and pieces that you can buy to take home such as Kimbo coffee beans (best coffee ever!).

Whilst in for a wee espresso, we had a taster of these Italian beer jellies.

A bit like quince but with a beer tang. Sweet and very tasty with a chunk of strong cheese. A little goes a long way here, so the jar *should* last a while - depending on your cheese love!

We aren't sure of where else you can buy this however the lovely chaps at Smile have lots of other delights if this is out of stock.
