Big Peat Whisky Easter Edition

31/03/2021 by Emma Leave a Comment

Join Big Peat this Easter for a dram

Big Peat can be found throughout the year, but there is now also an Easter Edition which can be bought online at Douglaslaing.com.

Big peat Easter whisky Douglas Laing

Big Peat is a blended whisky, comprising of a mix of whisky from Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen distilleries.

This first Big Peat Easter edition is a limited release of just 400 bottles.  The percentage is 48% alcohol strength and this is a whisky without colouring or chill-filtration.

It’s a bold and smoky, peated dram with a soft leathery nose.  A drop of water brought out the caramel flavours, which goes well with the sweetness of a chocolate egg (or two). If you’re anything like us and have already spent a bit of money on chocolate for Easter time then you may as well get some booze to go with it too. 😉

Each bottle is individually numbered and hand-signed by Douglas Laing Chairman, Fred Laing and Director of Whisky, Cara Laing.
