What We Tried at Katsute100 Islington

We ordered the matcha crepe cake, a Sakura Matcha Latte and a Hojicha Flat White.

Katsute100 Islington

The Sakura Matcha Latte was smooth, creamy and well balanced, with the matcha flavour coming through without being too bitter. The Hojicha Flat White had a lovely roasted flavour, with a nutty sweetness that made it feel comforting and different from a regular coffee.

The matcha crepe cake was light, creamy and dainty, with delicate layers and just the right level of sweetness. Definitely journey-worthy if you love Japanese desserts.

Is Katsute100 Worth Visiting?

Yes. Katsute100 Islington is a lovely stop for matcha lovers, Japanese tea fans and anyone looking for a quiet café in Islington.

It is not a grab-and-go coffee chain experience. It is more about slowing down, enjoying good tea and treating yourself to something pretty and delicious.
