Filthy baps and excellent coffee at Coffee House 607
When you see a sign on a window saying filthy baps, well, we had to go in. That, and Marks belly was signalling it was needing fed!
We liked the relaxed vibe with good tunes on in the background.
Menu
What we ate and drank
A matcha latte for me, and a long black for Mark. This was a strong matcha, none of that weak stuff here. The long black was a good, strong one.
As well as the filthy baps, there are various pastries on offer.
A slab, as it was indeed a slab, of carrot cake for later.
Now, you will note that the image below has a different drinks order…that is because we returned on another day for more baps and drinks ❤️
This time a chai latte and an iced Coffee – again thumbs up for these.
The Full Monty Bap – Smokey Bacon, scrambled egg, avocado, portobello mushroom sausage, hash brown, double portion of melted red leicster, siracha mayo and chipotle ketchup in a lightly toasted Rinkoff’s brioche bap.
This was filthy, so make sure you have some extra napkins! Was expecting it to be spicier with the mayo/ketchup description, it was more of a warming presence. A very filling assortment of layers.
Bacon Bap – Smokey Bacon, free range scrambled egg, melted red leicester, avocado and homemade chipotle ketchup in a lightly toasted Rinkoff’s brioche bap.
Not as filthy to eat as the full monty thankfully! Crisp, smokey bacon atop an array of delicious ingredients. Gorgeous.
Verdict
❤️
We returned, and this may be our London version of Die Henne in that we will need a filthy baps fix on each London visit.
Excellent coffee and matcha, friendly service and make sure to order a cake!
