This morning’s delivery of our Cheese Postie subscription got me thinking all toasties! Here are 5 of the best places in Glasgow for a grilled cheese sandwich.

Where the monkey sleeps

There are four toasties listed on the menu: Classic Toastie I to IV.  Keep an eye out for their specials like this smokey mac ‘n’ cheese with bacon, onion and cayenne.

Roaster’s Deli

Can out get any better than a full breakfast in a toastie? I think that may be a struggle!  With cheese, scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage, shaved ham and bacon bits, mmmm…if that’s not your thing they also have mac & cheese or The Elvis which is grilled cheese, bacon, peanut butter and banana.  See you there!

Look for the blue tardis on Wilson Street and be whisked away to another world of taste.  Regulars include the Flaming Classic which is  veggie chilli grilled cheese. Also on offer is PBJ with ham and jam – peanut butter, crispy streaky bacon, Swiss cheese and housemade chilli jam. 😍
