Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum is a free museum located in a Grade II listed old Victorian pumping station.

As well as the history of the pumphouse itself, you’ll find steam engines, real firefighting equipment including one of the Dennis fire trucks from the TV programme ‘London’s Burning’ and sit in the drivers seat of an old London tube carriage.

That’s not all, there’s a  model railway of the  Liverpool Street to Chingford Railway Line and a cafe plus small shop.
