Super Easy Cherry Ice Cream Recipe

No ice cream maker, 4 ingredient ice cream

No eggs, no cooking and just 4 ingredients for the easiest ice cream ever. All you need is cherries, cream, milk and sugar, and a blender!

We used Scottish cherries here from Scotty Brand as they are in season. Scotty Brand cherries are a variety called Sweetheart. The Scottish cherry season is short starting in the second half of July and lasting for about a month.

It’s summer, it’s hot and cherries are in season so what better excuse to make some ice cream. This one really is super easy, with 4 ingredients and a blender. No ice cream maker here, just your freezer.

Ingredients

  • cherries (we used Scotty Brand)
  • double cream
  • milk
  • sugar

Instructions

Combine the cherries, cream, milk and sugar in the blender. Puree until completely smooth.

Pour into a container, we used a loaf tin and freeze

The ice cream may take around 5 hours to freeze, depending on your freezer.

Super Easy Cherry Ice Cream

4 ingredient no ice cream maker cherry ice cream

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Scotty Brand Cherries
  • 300 ml double cream
  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar

Instructions
 

  • Combine the cherries, cream, milk and sugar in the blender.
  • Puree until completely smooth.
  • Pour into a container and freeze until solid.
