First Scottish Drinks Festival arrives this weekend

It’s well known that us Glaswegians like a drink or three and that we like to get together, as can be seen by the Juniper Festival, North Hop and now the new Scottish Drinks Festival.

The first ever Scottish Drinks Festival will be held at The Briggait, 147 Bridgegate, Glasgow, G1 5HZ

Saturday 5th August 12:00-15:45 and 16:15-19:45

Sunday 6th August 12:00-15:45 and 16:15-19:45

What you get?

All sampled drinks are included in the price but if you want to pick up any extra bottles, glassware or street food you will need to part with a few pennies. There is no ATM in Briggait so remember to take enough cash with you.

  • Taste over 150 whiskies, gins, rums, wines and beers!
  • Free glass to take home
  • Festival Programme includes £10 of discount vouchers for the purchase of take-home bottles
  • Live music
  • Chat with the people behind the brands

£1 from each ticket sold goes to Global’s Make Some Noise. This  is a national charity which gives a voice to small charities and projects from across the UK. Global has brought together its brands, Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Radio X, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth and Gold, which reach a combined audience of 24.4 million people every week, to raise money to change the lives of youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.
