Pub Review: The Three Judges, 141 Dumbarton Road, Partick, Glasgow G11 6PR

The three judges Partick Glasgow scotland beer

The Three Judges is the place to go if you like a peaceful pint, real ale and somewhere to chat.  There are regular beer festivals – see below as well as money off for CAMRA members (now you tell me! – Mr Foodie).  With 9 pumps of ever-changing beers, there is usually something available that you’ve not tried, and which you can try without breaking the bank.

The spirits and wine selection is good, as are prices.

The staff are friendly and helpful, no football is shown only rugby, there’s jazz on a Sunday as well. Toilets are kept clean but are tiny!

The Three Judges is part of the Maclays pub/hotel chain which has just went up for sale. 🙁 Let’s hope The Three Judges will still be here this time next year.

TL;DR

+ beer selection
+ friendly staff
+ good prices for the west-end
+ Jazz. Nice.
+ no football!

– no football!
–  teeny toilets
