Chefs table series launched by Personal Chef Mark Heirs

Personal chef Mark Heirs is bringing his home cooking style to everyone in 2019 as he launches a series of pop-up events.

PRIVE by Mark Heirs will launch in the new year as a series of bespoke seasonal dinners showcasing Mark’s cooking style at unique locations and venues across Scotland.

PRIVE by Mark Heirs will open a permanent chefs table in 2020, until then he will be popping up all over Scotland.

Mark said: “PRIVE by Mark Heirs is a new concept that brings together my skills as a chef and my passion for bringing excellent cooking to a mainstream audience while inspiring a future generation of chefs.

“As I continue to search for the perfect permanent location, I want people to experience the brand throughout all of 2019, which is why I’ve launched a series of pop-ups and dining experiences for people to come and try out the restaurant before it’s even open.”

Details of the pop-ups will be released over the course of next year with tickets to the first event going on-sale at the end of January 2019.




I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.    

Usually I can be found sleeping beside a cat.
