Nipped into here after an event as hungry and needed sushi.

Clean and tidy inside with bright lights and rows of tables and benches.  Large tv on wall showing news.

Not as fermenty as a lot of places, easy to drink.

Yasai tempura ( mixed vegetable)

Crisp tempura.  Sweet potato, mushroom and courgettes.  £4.90

Tamago nigiri

 

firm, fresh rice. Spongy, sweet egg. Perfect £2.90

Avocado maki

 

Thick chunks of avocado and fresh, firm rice. £4.50

Aigamo rosu bento

£14.00 inc miso.  Grilled duck breast in a sake, garlic and soy sauce.
3x sushi, 3x gyoza, 2x onigiri. Delicious! Duck cooked well and moist.

Ice cream

 

toasted coconut ice cream and pink guava & passion fruit ice cream £2.95 each.  Pink guava won this one.  Both creamy and full of flavour however the guava had the edge.

 

in total £46.80 inc two Hitachino beers.
