Yorkshire based HECK sausages are delicious. We found them some years ago at a food show and have never looked back. Meaty and full of flavour as well as gluten free, so more meat.
As part of their St Patrick’s Day celebrations they created a special pork sausage with a slurp of Irish stout to properly toast the popular Irish holiday.
Named FECK, we thought it was a perfect memorial to Father Jack as well.
As you can see the sausages pass the Fred test. Ideal for a roll, beside some colcannon or in a sausage stew.
We also like their square slice, perfect sized for a Sunday roll.
You can buy HECK sausages at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and online (they do good multi-buy deals online) Most of the products are gluten free and low fat.
