Raspberry_Collins

Raspberry Collins (alco free) 3.95

Vegetable_Tempura Vegetable Tempura £5.70

Not greasy at all  Traffic light peppers, Aubergine, onion, broccoli and mushroom

TerrineHam Terrine £5.75

Good chunks of ham, served with salad and some jam.  Small portion of garlic bread to the side.

Gratin

Gratin of haddock, prawn 17.95

Lovely.  Very creamy, good big chunks of fish and potatoes.

MacAndCheese

Posh mac n cheese £11.95

Not really mac n cheese, not macaroni and not a cheese sauce, more like an arrabiata, and the pasta on top dry and not mixed through the sauce, sprinkling of goats cheese, which it listed in menu, a big portion but disappointing.

Tablet_Sundae Tablet sundae £5.65

Not really tablet but fudge chunks.  Plenty of ice cream.  Very, very sweet.

Caramel_And_Banana_MessCaramel and banana mess £5.95

No meringue, lack of caramel sauce, basically vanilla ice cream and banana -Ice cream ok, plenty of it but not as exciting as we'd  hoped.

Overall with three courses each and six drinks the bill came to £82.75.  A good meal but, in all honesty, for another £20 we got this amazing meal in Edinburgh.  Hmmm.   Service was swift and friendly and with bar, disco and restaurant - Elliots is handy for a night out.
