New start for Crosslands Bar

So what comes next? the Queen Margaret Drive venue – the former Crosslands bar which was used as a filming location for the original Trainspotting film – will open later this month as The Kelbourne Saint

This will be the eighth venue launched by Kained Holdings, who also operate Porter & Rye, The Finnieston etc.  It will soon be ten with two more venues in the pipeline including a not-for-profit deli that will train and hire people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Kelbourne Saint will feature a craft beer tank system (We visited Howling Hops in Hackney recently and loved tank beer!).

Kained are working with WEST Brewery for their craft beer tank system. The beer is in two chilled 500 litre tanks in the pub which feed brewery-fresh beer directly into the taps.

Kained have also bought the former Rockus on Argyle Street and is transforming it into a Victorian-era pub serving Mexican street food….interesting!
