WEST celebrate 10 years with Limited Edition Cask Aged Beer

22/02/2016 by Emma Leave a Comment

Opus268 bottle WEST brewery beer10 years of WEST Brewery

WEST Brewery are celebrating their 10th anniversary next month and are launching Opus268, a special limited edition cask aged wheat beer.

WEST founder Petra Wetzel said: “The perfect way to celebrate our 10th anniversary, this special Weizendoppelbock (wheat beer) spent 268 days in a 30-year-old highland whisky cask – hence its name. The result is a bold and complex brew with strong notes of lemon zest, marzipan, cherries and raisins. Tart and spicy, the whisky, a defining feature, shines through and brings warmth with it – and at 8.5% ABV it packs a punch! After 10 years, we’re still way out WEST!”

This special limited edition batch of 245 bottles will be priced at £10 and available from WEST on the Green and WEST on the Corner.
