Overview of food ordered. L-R

Sweet Potato Soup,

Soup of the day small £3.95 …large £4.95,

 Mug o’ chips

…small £3.50…large £4.50,

Cullen Skink, Mac ‘n’ cheese and Fish curry

All sizes ordered where small.

teuchters fish curry

Fish curry…Loch Duart salmon and North Sea Coley with roasted sweet peppers & a wee naan  Mr Williams was very chuffed with his choice, good large chunks of fish and the sauce got spicier the further you went down the mug.

teuchters cullen skink

Cullen Skink…creamy smoked haddock soup…small £4.95…large £7.95.  Another thumbs up by Mr Williams, good ratio of tattie/fish and again huge chunks.

SONY DSC

Mac n Cheese Lockerbie mature cheddar macaroni…small £4.95…large £6.95…add crispy bacon bits for 50p

Ms Foodie went for the soup of the day and mac n cheese.  Both flavoursome  and the soup came with oatcakes for dunking.  Good cheesy sauce for the mac n cheese.

Overall, quirky idea but backed up with some good food, good portions too.  Staff were friendly, place clean and tidy.  Toilets clean with soap and lotion available.
