Spotted a cheap deal and we couldn’t be bothered cooking so thought we’d give it a go.  £11.95 for two course plus a complimentary sweet or coffee.

I had Mussels with chilli and tomato sauce to start, the man had minestrone soup.  No pasta in the soup but lovely taste and huge chunks.  My mussels were huge, plump and very tasty but i think they must have waved at the chilli, lovely sauce tho.

Mains were Penne Carbonara – ok but a bit too al dente for me, good creamy sauce and nice bacon.  Other half had salmon with crushed new potatoes and leek sauce – again gorgeous.
We opted for the pudding and got some home made tiramisu, again lovely.

Friendly atmosphere and service, we’ll be back 🙂
