Great Scottish Beer Celebration is saved!

 Beer Makes Glasgow!

With the sad news of the liquidation of Hippo Beers Ltd came the cancellation of the yearly Great Scottish Beer Celebration. But fear not, a collective of local beer lovers have come to the rescue to not only save the festival but honour previous ticket purchases! Yaldy!

Beer Makes Glasgow will now take place instead and will be non-profit, with any money left over going to Drumchapel Food Bank, the only charity of its kind operating independently in Scotland, which can offer emergency drop-ins for clients in crisis. St Augustine of Hippo would be proud!

The festival is being held at Glasgow Art School and will bring together food, drink (mainly beer of course) and entertainment.

Crossing the Rubicon will be serving some of their lovely curries With more food providers to be announced soon. 🍽
