Bella Fresca Cardonald Glasgow

Outside of Bella Fresca, Glasgow

A slice of Italy in Southside Glasgow

We hadn't been to Bella Fresca for an age, in fact 2008!  After a swim at nearby Bellahouston Sports Centre, it was time to add those calories that had been lost back to the belly!

It was breakfast time so a look at their menu.

Breakfast Menu

A wide range of dishes from traditional full Scottish breakfast to Italian toast.  Being starving, we picked two full breakfasts.

They appeared in about 5 minutes, top job!

Full breakfast

For £6.95 you get two rounds of toast, black pudding, square sausage, two slices of bacon, egg, mushroom and tomato plus a tea or coffee.  Excellent value for money.  Being bacon fans it was good to have tasty bacon.

There is also a deli part which had a selection of meats, cheeses, bread and store cupboard products.

In essence an ideal cafe and deli to have at the end of your street.  Popular with locals, it has an area you can sit at the counter and have your coffee and read the newspapers.

TL;DR

+good food
+good service
-Too far from my house!

About Emma

Has been eating and drinking for far too long. Usually found hibernating on a couch, snuggling a cat.
