Glasgow Favourite Eusebi Expands to Edinburgh with New Bakery Counter at Bonnie & Wild
One of Glasgow’s loved food destinations is heading east. Eusebi, the family-run deli, restaurant and bakery that has become synonymous with authentic Italian food in Scotland, has opened a new bakery counter at Edinburgh’s award-winning food hall, Bonnie & Wild.
Founded in 1954, Eusebi has built a loyal following thanks to its freshly made pasta, artisan pastries, Italian coffee and warm hospitality. Now owner Giovanna Eusebi is bringing a taste of the West End institution to Scotland’s capital, introducing Edinburgh food lovers to the bakery traditions that have been at the heart of the family business for generations.
Located within Bonnie & Wild’s Scottish Marketplace in St James Quarter, the new Eusebi counter will serve a tempting selection of handmade Italian pastries, classic desserts and seasonal bakes from the venue’s illy Caffè.

Visitors can expect favourites such as pistachio and crema cornetti, freshly baked pastries, traditional Italian dolci and seasonal cakes inspired by Scotland’s finest produce. Signature items include Eusebi’s popular strawberry tarts made with Scottish fruit, alongside a range of sweet treats designed to accompany a morning coffee, an afternoon break or a post-meal indulgence.
Everything is handmade from scratch by Eusebi’s dedicated bakery team and delivered fresh daily to Edinburgh.

Speaking about the launch, Giovanna Eusebi said:
“Opening at Bonnie & Wild marks an exciting new chapter for Eusebi. We’re delighted to introduce Edinburgh customers to the bakery, craftsmanship and Italian traditions that have been part of our family business for decades.
“Bonnie & Wild’s commitment to quality produce, sustainable sourcing and family-friendly hospitality made this a natural partnership. We share many of the same values, and we’re thrilled to become part of such a vibrant food destination.
“For us, this is about much more than coffee and cake. It’s about sharing the everyday rituals we grew up with in Italy – the morning cornetto, the quick espresso at the counter, and desserts enjoyed with family and friends. These simple moments are at the heart of Italian hospitality, and we look forward to bringing them to Edinburgh.”
The arrival of Eusebi further strengthens Bonnie & Wild’s reputation as one of Scotland’s leading food destinations.
Ryan Barrie, Managing Director of Bonnie & Wild, said:
“Eusebi is one of Scotland’s most loved Italian brands. Their passion for quality food, exceptional service and genuine hospitality makes them a perfect addition to Bonnie & Wild.
“Alongside recent arrivals Flùr Pizza from chef Ivan Stein and Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah, Eusebi adds even more variety to our growing line-up. Together, these businesses showcase the incredible talent, creativity and produce that Scotland has to offer.”
The launch follows a busy period for Bonnie & Wild, which continues to attract some of Scotland’s most exciting food businesses. With the addition of Eusebi, visitors can now enjoy everything from artisan pizza and tacos to traditional Italian pastries and expertly brewed coffee, all under one roof.
