A birthday celebration needed cake and who better to supply some sticky goodness than the Italians!  They certainly lived up to the hype.  I have a wonderful ice cream concoction with strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, meringue, strawberries and fudge sauce. Birthday girl went for some chocolate cake which was the thickest, goooeyist cake ive ever seen. Not only was there cake but a side serving of cream and ice cream – just in case there wasn’t enough calories on that plate! Our other diner had profiteroles which were also served with ice cream – and must’ve been good – they were demolished quickly and with hardly any talking in between!
