EXPIRED WIN – Electric Glen 6th -16th February 2014

Electric Glen Lighting Festival is set to return for its second year running in Rouken Glen Park, East Renfrewshire after its sell out success on February 2013.

This year, running for eight nights from 6-9 and 13-16 February 2014, over two long weekends (Thurs-Sun) will feature an hour long artistically lit route through the stunning natural landscapes, full of quirky light installations, street theatre and interactive activities.

A new route for Electric Glen 2014 will take visitors along wooded pathways through the glen, with its dramatic waterfall, to the ornamental boating pond. A family fun trail, with visual, sound and performance based clues to discover along the way, highlight the social history of the park.

At the end of the trail the boating lake will host a series of fun interactive activities for children and adults alike, including ‘Splosh’ – which will turn throwing stones into the water into a truly magical experience and ‘Curling’ is given a new twist!
