Budget Hotel in West Berlin

We stumbled across the Alecsa Hotal am Olympiastadion whilst looking for somewhere cheap to place our heads.  We just needed budget accommodation which was clean, near transport and was secure.  ALECSA Hotel am Olympiastadion seemed to do this so we booked.

It's about a 10 minute walk to the S-bahn station of Pichelsberg.  Access is by along set of stairs so don't bring a heavy case!  Nearby is the Olympiastadion as well as the Waldbühne Berlin amphitheater. Both are around 10 minutes walk away.

The rooms don't have air conditioning but have wifi, private bathrooms with soap and towels as well as a large balcony for air and sun.

Breakfast in the form of a buffet is available (we didn't check this out) as well as a lounge area, some foosball and a well stocked shop for souveniers.

The Alecsa Hotal am Olympiastadion is ideal for the budget traveller and close to public transport.

Address: Glockenturmstraße 30, 14055 Berlin

Transport: S-Bahn station Berlin-Pichelsberg, S5 line.

We booked the hotel through Hostel Bookers website.
