City Centre pub that rests on its laurels. Looks interesting from the outside but inside is pretty bland. Lunch menu is cheap and appeals to the office crowd however the smell of chips lingers throughout and the place looks like it could do with a clean.

  1. Tommy (lunch customer)

To be fair this has now been taken over with the lunch menu completely overhauled. I liked the Pie, Chips, Beans and a Pint deal before but the place is far better now with a good selection of good pub grub.

  2. Had a good night out with a mate, and ended up in the Griffen. Great bar, good music, but spoiled by Joe the barman verbally abusing me and telling me I was not welcome in his bar.
Finished my beer and was slagged off as I left the bar by Joe again…….
Shame he has no decency, spoiled a good night out with a friend.Joe is friendly to people’s face, but there is a nasty side to the wee guy
