The Verdict
Scottish Hampers delivers an authentic taste of Scotland, but not only that, everything was carefully packaged and delivered in a sturdy, well made hamper. We’ve had numerous hampers delivered over the years, e.g. a cheese hamper from George Mews, and this is one of the better ones. Lots of award-winning (e.g. Great Taste starred) produce is available to be included, and there wasn’t anything in our hamper that we didn’t enjoy.
As touched on above, there are some items that aren’t Scottish, e.g. if you’re picking a wine-based hamper or adding a wine to a hamper. We had a bottle of The Ned, Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand included in ours, which is a great aromatic wine – and there are lots of Scottish connections to New Zealand so it made sense but it would be nice to have the ability to add Scottish fruit wine to your hamper as well.
