Williams Bros Black beer win “Champion Mild of Britain’ category, the only Scottish cask ale to win a Gold award at the UK’s biggest Real Ale festival for the second year in a row.

The “Champion Beer of Britain” awards judged by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) awarded Williams Black (cask conditioned ale) Gold and were the only Scottish brewery to make the final at this year’s awards.

Seeing off stiff competition from hundreds of competitors Chris Williams of Williams Bros said:

“We are absolutely delighted for Black to be crowned ‘Champion Mild of Britain’ at the GBBF for the second year in a row.

Cheers to that!
