SUMMERHALL’S SUMMER BEER FESTIVALE RETURNS

Summerhall 15 – 16 May 2015

Tickets available now – Strictly over 18s

Edinburgh’s homegrown festivALE of the hop returns.

The Summerhall Beer Festival is now into its third year with the aim to celebrate the best local and simply sourced and enjoyed good food and drink.

The best of Scottish brewing, distilling and pressing into the building to talk about their produce and process… with plenty of beer on tap too.

The FestivALE will be split over four sessions on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May.

Welcoming back Williams Brothers, Top Out Brewery, The Rum Boys, Summerhall’s Bizarre Bottle Bar and of course the home grown strengths of Pickering’s Gin and Barney’s Beer and event newbies Thistly Cross Cider – to add that summer cider vibe.

The afternoon sessions from 2pm on Friday and Saturday will see all the action outside in Summerhall’s courtyard with each ‘brewer’ hosting a stand with beer, chat and info. There will also be the usual classics playlist pumping in the old Veterinary college's aptly named Dissection Room and yet more beer and banter

Locally sourced street food will be served.

On site brewer Barney of Barney’s Beer will be inviting punters to come and view his brewery and Pickering’s Gin will be holding tours of the Summerhall Distillery.

The evening sessions from 8pm will spill into the Dissection Room with DJs and brewers serving until gone midnight – and street food served in the courtyard.

The ticket price includes access to the stalls, music, brewery and distillery tours (day sessions) DJs (evening sessions) and four beer tokens that can be exchanged at the event bars for £4 worth of drinks.

Book now to secure your session.
