Smoked Trout on Potato Scones Recipe

Smoked Trout on Potato Scones (Tattie Scones)

Enjoy these Scottish Blinis for Christmas morning, a party nibble of a Christmas dinner starter.  Quick and easy to make these smoked trout on potato scones are much nicer than smoked salmon.  We used Tobermory Fish Co Smoked Trout. and used generous amounts of it as ‘It’s Christmas!’ and we had to share with Cleo.

Make your own potato scones or buy ready-made ones from the supermarket
