Aromatic Red Duck, Bar Soba

Long time favourite lunch spot of ours Bar Soba have launched a new Autumn/Winter menu with more of a street food feel and with their mix of pan Asian styles.  The new Aromatic Red Duck uses French confit duck and blends this with Thai red curry flavours. Looking forward to trying this one out as we both love the Bar Soba Thai green curry.

The new Menu is available now in all Soba venues (Now in Leeds and soon to extend to Manchester and Liverpool!)  and features Platters, Small Plates, Rice Bowls, Noodle Bowls, Main Plates and Desserts. Each venue will also offer a 2 Course £8.95 Express Lunch Menu and £12.95 Pre-theatre from Monday to Friday.

I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.    

Usually I can be found sleeping beside a cat.
