Vandalism? or something else at Myddelton Passage?
The mysterious Myddleton Passage Police Carvings.
It’s easy to wander along Myddelton Passage without noticing anything different, unless you know.
What looks just like any other wall and passage way but…look closer.
You’ll soon see letters and numbers carved into the bricks.
Did you know that these carvings were carried out by the police officers of the Metropolitan Police’s G Division, the Finsbury Division, based out of King’s Cross Police Station.
On the whole, the officers simply carved their collar numbers followed by a “G” to denote G Division.
Why did they do it? No one knows!
