Romance on Valentine's Day needn't cost the earth.  Some eggs, butter and bread can make someone's morning with breakfast in bed made with love.  Dazzle your partner with your amazing cooking skills.

egg heart toast 1

Ingredients

Butter
4 slices white bread
4 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
1 heart cookie cutter

Method

Lay the bread down onto a hard surface and using the heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut a heart-shaped hole in the centre of the bread.
Add a dollop of butter to a frying pan and cook the slice of bread (or more slices if your pan allows)
Cook on a low-medium heat
Once the bread is cooked on one side, flip over to cook the other side.
Pour an egg into the heart-shaped hole
Cook for around 5 mins, over low heat, until the egg is cooked.
Toast the cut-out heart and serve it alongside the heart egg toast.
