What to expect at Sri Lankan food spot Kochchi
Kochchi have created a loyal following of Sri Lankan food fans at their Bonnie & Wild base in Edinburgh. They now have their first stand alone site at what was Hanoi Bike Shop, Ruthven Lane just off Byres Road in the West end of Glasgow.

Inside the decor is mellow and the seating relaxed. We dined upstairs where there is a terrace for warmer days.
A couple of Sri Lankan inspired cocktails to start.

Kochchi Glasgow Menu
What we ate at Kochchi
Mutton roll – a golden, crispy roll filled with spiced mutton. A very filling starter with lots of tender meat.

Hot butter cauliflower – crispy cooked cauliflower cooked in hot butter. A lightly spiced dish, some bigger pieces of cauliflower would have been good as we big caulie fans. An easy to munch starter.
Colombo chicken curry – Tender chicken in a rich, flavoursome sauce. The chilli slices are the hottest thing here so dont worry, the flavour comes from the blend of spices
