Half Price cocktails at Eccleston Square Hotel, London

Relief from the city

London’s Victoria is not a place usually associated with tranquility, but  there is a peaceful oasis called the Eccleston Square Hotel just a short walk from the transportopolis.

We were in search of refreshment, and the Eccleston’s half price Cocktail Time offer sounded just the ticket (Monday to Saturday 5 to 8 pm).

Cocktail offers can be hit or miss with drinks sometimes a little light on substance. It was a warm afternoon so we chose a French 77; a refreshing blend of Elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine and lemon. I am happy to say that there was nothing hit or miss about this cocktail, and at half price (£4.95)  a lot to say about having another!

The current Cocktail Hour menu includes six all time favourites: Tequila Sunrise; Blue Lagoon; Cuba Libre; Gin Fizz; French 77 and Pimm’s No1. The menu is seasonal, so check the website for changes.

And now… well it’s time for that other cocktail.
