Located within the heart of Marylebone, The Cavendish 35 New Cavendish St is definately a destination. Spanish Masterchef finalist, Alfonso Lillo Fas, trained at El Bulli and is the Chef here.

This time, it was beer time.  The drinks menu is large, excellent wine list as well as cocktail and spirits menu, with a snack menu to keep the hunger away whilst you relax. Service was courteous with pleasant staff.

Toilets clean and fresh with the gents especially sparkly!

Meantime IPA on tap which was a light, citrus beer. Perfect for the weather. Served in a chilled glass, with some nibbles and at £5.63 a good London price.

Do you know the history of this pub? We think our greatgrandparents may have been the landlords of the pub in 1861 – Isabela (Sybil) and William Steel Everard.
