Freuchie Cricket Club is best known for having won the village cricket championships at Lord’s in 1985.

Did you know?  Freuchie was once used by the Royal family as a place of banishment from the Court when it was in nearby Falkland Palace.   Poor Freuchie, it’s a nice place!

Lumsden Memorial Hall

The Lumsden Memorial Hall is a community hall and library.  The Hall was left in Trust by Helen Lumsden in 1883 in memory of her husband Thomas Lumsden, Linen Manufacturer.

Previously on this site in 1794, a Secession Church was built on this site.  The congregation grew too large and a new church was erected on Church Street in 1868

Freuchie Mill

Freuchie Mill is a former water mill  from around 1840.  The building is now residential accommodation.

Eden Valley Linen Works

Eden Valley Linen Works is a former linen factory, now converted to residential accommodation.

Built around 1864, this  2-storey, 16-bay former linen works building stands proud amongst the fields and housing,   The building was used as a Linen Works until around the time of the Second World War. Recently used as a mushroom factory.

Freuchie War Memorial

Freuchie Parish Church

Gothic-style church built in 1876.  Following the union of 1929, it was briefly named Freuchie West to distinguish it from the nearby United Free Church. In 1981, it was reunited with Falkland Parish Church.
