The Kind Man, Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow – Oct 2011 ***CLOSED***

Located where Strathies Bar was  on Pollokshaws Road, the Kind Man is the return to a previous name.

Bland decor although friendly staff and domino playing clientele.  Tennents, strongbow and guinness on tap.  Atmosphere was a bit lacking.

  1. Terrible place, I was assaulted by the landlady for refusing to buy a drink before I used her toilet. I explained to her I have IBS and was about to soil myself and also told her Scottish law obliges her to let me use her toilet yet she physically grabbed me. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE, and NO ONE SHOULD DRINK HERE

  2. GREAT WE BAR , FRIENDLY STAFF AND CUSTOMERS , MADE FEEL REALLY WELCOME , WILL BE BACK SOON FOR ANOTHER VIST

  3. Called in here on Saturday evening. Met with a barked “Can I help You?” We asked if they were serving food and again got a sharp reply. Definately got the impression it’s a local pub for local people, so we left. I think the kind man must have been on his day off and left the Unfriendly lady in charge.

  4. This is a great pub with live music on a Sunday afternoon and really good food at great prices. as for the atmosphere try a Friday night when the Karaoke’s on for real good atmosphere.
