Looking for a boutique hotel in Helensburgh with sea views, great food and easy access to Loch Lomond?
Situated directly on West Clyde Street overlooking the Firth of Clyde, Riva combines accommodation, restaurant and bar, and one of the best locations in Helensburgh. Whether you’re planning a weekend break from Glasgow, a stopover before exploring Argyll, or a relaxing coastal escape, Riva offers a comfortable and convenient base.

First Impressions
Arriving at Riva Boutique Hotel, the first thing that catches your eye is its enviable waterfront position. Located on Helensburgh’s seafront promenade, the hotel enjoys views across the Clyde towards Greenock, Gourock and the hills beyond.

The exterior blends neatly into the Victorian streetscape, while inside you’ll find a modern and stylish interior that feels fresh and welcoming.
The reception area is just to the left of the bar and restaurant. A bonus is that the hotel is very dog-friendly.

The Room
Our room featured contemporary décor with muted tones and comfortable furnishings. A big king sized bed for sprawling, a HUGE tv, Wi-fi, tea, coffee and biscuits, lots of storage space, fan – ideal for those odd summer days in Scotland!, iron and an ironing board, bedside chocs, fresh water and a en-suite shower room.

and a selection of wonderful vinyl to chill out with.

One of the standout features was the room’s sense of calm. Despite being in the centre of town, noise levels were minimal, allowing for a restful night’s sleep and a relaxing environment after a day of sightseeing.
