New Summer Menu for The Dalmore Inn in Blairgowrie

The Dalmore Inn in Blairgowrie has launched a fresh new summer menu, blending much-loved favourites with seasonal dishes designed to make the most of Scotland’s warmer months.

Regular visitors will still find popular classics including traditional fish and chips, the Highlander beef burger and the ever-popular macaroni cheese. Alongside these staples, the kitchen has introduced a selection of new dishes showcasing summer ingredients and flavours.

Among the new starters is Garlic King Prawn Bruschetta, topped with basil pesto and a balsamic reduction. For those looking for something hearty, the Slow-Braised Steak and Thyme Pie is served with seasonal vegetables, caramelised onion mash and chips. Vegetarians can enjoy the Butternut Squash and Sage Arancini, accompanied by yellow pepper coulis and a Parmesan tuile.

Lighter options have also been added to the menu, including a Chicken Caesar Salad and Sea Bream Fillets served Niçoise-style with saffron potatoes, fine beans, confit cherry tomatoes, egg, olives and anchovies.

Dessert lovers are well catered for with several new additions. The Pineapple Upside-Down Sundae combines coconut ice cream, cherry sorbet, caramelised pineapple, Chantilly cream, vanilla sponge, rum syrup and a wafer. Other tempting choices include Tablet Parfait with shortbread crumb and raspberry sorbet, alongside a rich White Chocolate and Pistachio Cheesecake.

“Guests can enjoy our two-course lunch menu for £20.95, available from noon until 4pm, or choose from our Dalmore Menu, which offers two courses for £28.95 or three courses for £34.95 from a wide selection of dishes.”

He added:

“We are proud to work with a trusted network of Perthshire suppliers and use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.”
