Ingredients

2 tablespoons of olive oil
500g Aldi Wagyu beef mince
2 cans of chopped tinned tomatoes
1 cube of beef stock dissolved in 200ml of hot water.
3 tablespoons of dried Italian mixed herbs
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Nutmeg
200g fresh lasagne sheets or part-cooked dry lasagne sheets
550ml milk
55g butter
55g plain flour
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1tsp salt and pepper
Grated cheese for topping.

Method

Start by making the meat sauce.   Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and cook the Wagyu beef mince until it is browned all over.

Pour over the two cans of chopped tinned tomatoes, beef stock, dried Italian herbs and around a teaspoon of grated nutmeg.

Bring up to the boil, then simmer until the sauce has thickened.

Meanwhile, make the white sauce. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a low heat and add the flour.

Whisk until combined and cook on low for 1-2 mins.

Remove from the heat and gradually whisk in the milk until you have a loose sauce. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.

Return to a gentle heat and whisk constantly until the sauce thickens.

Layer your lasagne dish starting with the mince sauce, then the lasagne sheets. Repeat until the dish is filled with lasagne tastiness finishing with the white sauce.

Top with grated cheese and place into the air fryer at 180 degrees until the lasagne is crisp and bubbling.
