Unlimited Raclette in London at La Petite Ferme

A slice of France in the middle of London

Staying in London the night before a trip to France to find out all about French Whisky at Celtic Whisky Distillery in Brittany it was fitting to start the French experience with a visit to La Petite Ferme in Farringdon. Which just happened to serve Unlimited Raclette!

The interior is suitably quirky French with rustic tables and decor.

What we ate

We were waiting on a couple of folks to arrive so some escargot to start. Not one for everyone, but these are suitably garlicky and buttery.

Olives and charcuterie, just in case there isn’t enough meat on the menu later 😉

plus duck confit croquettes. Moreish, and comforting with a lux touch.

A couple of bottles of wine to keep us refreshed on the culinary journey. We went with the recommendations from the staff as to what would go with the cheese.

Onto the raclette. Unlimited cheese for £29pp, surely heaven for me? Morbier and raclette cheese with sides of charcuterie, garlic mushrooms, potatoes and cornichons.

And yes it is unlimited … cheese and meat and veggies.

Bubbly cheese, I’d be happy just sitting here for a little while. Next time I see a Raclette Grill on sale, I’m buying one – this is the life I want, surrounded by melted cheese.

Have your own raclette at home

If you are looking to have your own raclette night, here is a link to buy your own raclette grill.

Verdict

A great way to spend an evening, friends, wine and cheese and all for £29pp and in London.
