Four places to watch fireworks to celebrate New Year

Edinburgh

Not content with one day, Edinburgh has three days of celebrations. Torch-light parade, live music, theatre and fireworks against the stunning Edinburgh Castle. More information on all that is happening here.

London

The 100,000 tickets for the fireworks display are likely to be snapped up quick. Joining with Unicef, the Mayor of London will be brinjng some cheer to a chilly Thames-side and children around the world.More information here.

Newcastle

Two fireworks displays to welcome in the New Year in Newcastle. A family-friendly celebration will be held quayside friends m 5pm with music, lights and fun. Later on there will be a further display at the quayside for adults. More information here

Cardiff

Winter Wonderland in Cardiff will provide the backdrop for Cardiff's New Year fireworks. There will music, food and fun for all the family.
